Timing

We produce our Artist Edition ArtTables in small production runs, typically over two weeks. When your order is placed, will influence when your ArtTable will be ready, but rest assured, it will be at most two weeks.

We can sometimes improve upon this, so if timing is critical, please get in touch – we love to try to make things work.

We appreciate your patience as we maintain the quality of our production process for our customers.

Packing

Your ArtTable is primarily a work of art, so we treat it as such at every turn. After being carefully checked, each ArtTable is packed in our custom-made box to ensure the artwork is protected fully.

Every ArtTable is a collaboration between ink and wood. Printed directly onto birch, the ink seeps into the grain, creating a finish that feels stained into the surface. MEET MARCO

Marco often uses simple shapes and bright colours to promote positive statements, which perfectly aligns with our AoPP ethos. So we asked Marco a few questions to get behind his thinking for this collaboration.

AoPP: What inspired you to collaborate with the Art of Ping Pong?

Marco: I’ve wanted to collaborate with Art of Ping Pong for as long as I can remember—maybe since 2018. I first spotted one of their ArtTables while walking through London—I can’t recall if it was in a shop window or on Instagram—and we kept in touch for years. It’s incredible to finally see this set come to life!

AoPP: Can you talk us through your ideas behind the design?

Marco: It’s a simple expression of home—lamp, lips, eyes, stairs—through geometric forms. ‘We need to play’ is a reminder that, no matter our age, play always matters.

AoPP: It is no secret that the duality of art + play is at the core of everything we do at AoPP.  We are motivated by the simple concept that art + play can connect with those around us and how, as modest as that might be, these connections can have a broader positive impact on the world. As an artist, what are your thoughts on the power and influence of art?

Marco: I could spend years trying to answer this question. Art should be the ultimate form of communication, capable of conveying a message that is universally understood across societies. However, the art market reveals how the evolution of investment and speculation has tainted this world, causing an increasing number of artists to drift away from meaningful concepts and messages, instead leaning toward purely decorative works with no deeper purpose.

FAQs

It looks so cool – but can you actually play a good game on it?

Absolutely! Our founder is a ping pong fanatic, so compromising on the game would never have been an option. The enjoyment of the gameplay had to match the quality of the art on the wall. We weren’t interested in creating a novelty product that we would soon become bored of.

Does it come ready to use?

Yes – you'll be playing as soon as you take it out of the box!

Each ArtTable comes pre-assembled and ready for instant use with its own solid net, two table tennis bats and four balls.

To hang your ArtTable on the wall, we provide our custom wall bracket that uses a ‘French Cleat’ system to hold it to the wall securely. It must be hung vertically; the French Cleat design will not work horizontally.

Screws and wall plugs are also provided, but as wall materials vary, please make sure you seek advice on suitable screws and wall plugs by contacting your local specialised dealer.
