Artist

British artist James Joyce works across painting, drawing, sculpture and design. His bold, graphic visual language combines humour, wit and the absurd, often reducing familiar symbols and faces to their simplest forms.

In 2016, James hand-painted his collapsed clown onto a one-off paddle for an Art of Ping Pong exhibition. Almost ten years later, No Laughing Matter brings James and AoPP back together, expanding that original encounter into a full collection.

They look cool, but are they a novelty product?

Our founder is ping pong obsessed and would never have created a product that compromised the game itself.

All our ping pong balls are regulation size, weight and bounce.

You don't seem to ship to my country. Can you help?

We ship worldwide and haven’t yet found a country we can’t reach.

If you have any trouble with your destination at checkout, just email marley@theartofpingpong.co.uk and we’ll sort it for you.

Good news: we now ship Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) to most countries — meaning all taxes and customs duties are covered upfront.

Your order should arrive without extra fees, delays, or surprise calls from the courier.

Will the art on them make me play better?

Whilst we can't guarantee this, we do believe adding art to your game gives your game a little more bounce!
