WHY YOU'LL LOVE AN ARTNET
Most home ping pong doesn’t disappear because people stop enjoying it. It disappears because it was never designed to be part of a home.
Traditional tables and nets are built around regulation sizes and sporting norms — not kitchens, studios, or living spaces.
The ArtNet removes that friction.
There’s no permanent table to live with, no folding legs to wrestle, and no net that ends up forgotten in a cupboard. It’s designed first as an object for your walls, then as a game you can return to whenever you want.
Made from three interlocking steel pieces, the ArtNet links together to form a table tennis net that works across a range of surfaces. When the game’s over, it hangs back on the wall on its own oak bracket, ready for next time.
When play is easy to start, it’s easy to come back to.

WHERE ART BECOMES PLAY
FOR SMALL SPACES
Our ArtNets start as unique, luxury art pieces hanging on your wall, ready to transform any table into a ping pong game in seconds. Link them together and they turn ordinary surfaces into moments of play, bringing sophistication, fun, and a striking visual statement to your space.
FOR SHARED MOMENTS
A boredom buster that doesn’t involve cables or screens.
The ArtNet encourages spontaneous play, shared moments, and low-stakes competition — perfect for quick games between homework, dinner, or guests arriving. Designed to be used, displayed, and used again, without fuss.
FOR WORKSPACES AND CREATIVE STUDIOS
More than an accessory, the ArtNet acts as a visual cue for connection and downtime.
A quick game breaks the ice, resets focus, and brings people together — without turning the space into a games room.
Functional when you need it. Art when you don’t.
IS IT ART, OR IS IT PLAY?
MEET JAMEL
We caught up with Jamel at his solo exhibition, Silk Song, to talk about rhythm, ancestry, and how his art found its way into the world of play.
AoPP: Can you tell us a bit about your journey as an artist and how you first discovered your unique style?
Jamel: My journey began almost instinctively, as a way to make sense of feelings I couldn’t always put into words. Over time, painting and sculpture evolved into a means of channelling a sense of memory, ancestry, and ritual. My style emerged through experimenting with texture, layering, and figures that feel both ancient and timeless. It’s a language that came naturally once I trusted the process.
AoPP: What did Art of Ping Pong bring out in your practice that might not have surfaced in a solo project?
Jamel: Working with Art of Ping Pong pushed me to think about interaction in a different way. A painting is observed, but a paddle or table is touched, moved, and played with. It made me consider durability, rhythm, and joy as essential parts of the design.
AoPP: Can you tell us about the inspiration behind the artwork for this collection?
Jamel: At first, my design was more focused on serving the idea of the ping pong table itself, but Art of Ping Pong encouraged me to stay closer to my own language as an artist. That shift opened the door to bring in elements from my ongoing work. The table will be launched during my exhibition at Gallery Hioco Delany, where one of the central stories is about the wolf. This figure symbolises my son and the idea of protection and kinship. I wanted the design to convey some of that spirit — a sense of guardianship, energy, and play — while still aligning with the game's rhythm.
FAQs
Can an ArtNet be used on any table?
An ArtNet can be used on almost any table or surface in the home.
You can use one of the net pieces on the tiniest of tables or interlink all three pieces to fit a table width of approximately 135cm. The three powder-coated net pieces neatly overlap, so you choose how much to overlap by to be able to fit your surface.
Then, when you’re finished playing, return the nets to the wall to enjoy a vibrant piece of wall art.
Does it come ready to use?
Yes – you'll be playing as soon as you take it out of the box!
Each ArtNet set comes with 3 x powder coated net pieces, two table tennis bats and four balls, as well as a beautiful solid oak wall bracket. Secure the oak bracket to the wall with the screws provided so you can enjoy displaying your ArtNet as a vibrant piece of wall art when you're done practising your backhand!
I had one of those extendable nets before but never used it. How is this better?
This is exactly why the ArtNet was conceived!
We had one of those plastic retractable table tennis nets for years, but apart from the first couple of weeks when it was out all the time, it was then lost somewhere in a cupboard and destined to gather dust.
Often, people conclude that “home ping pong is not for us”, but it's not true!
The ArtNet, when not in use, is a vibrant piece of wall art – a constant reminder to embrace spontaneity and play. Our customers report that because it is on display, they play much more because it is so accessible.
Out of sight really does mean out of mind!
